Business Day(s): Any day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays, when banks in London are open for business.
Conditions: The terms and conditions outlined in this document, subject to amendments as specified in clause 14.
Contract: The agreement between MedBike Limited and the Customer for the purchase of Goods or Services in accordance with these Conditions.
Customer, you, your: The individual or entity purchasing Goods or
Services from MedBike Limited.
Event Outside Our Control: An event, as defined in clause 13, that is outside the reasonable control of MedBike Limited, impacting its ability to perform obligations.
Goods: The products (or any part of them) listed in the Customer’s Order.
MedBike Limited, we, us, our: MedBike Limited, a UK-based company registered at [Insert Address], operating under the MedBike brand.
Order: The request made by the Customer for Goods or Services through the MedBike website or other official ordering channels.
Services: The services (or any part of them) as detailed in the Order, such as e-bike servicing or repairs.
Website: MedBike Limited’s online platform available at https://medbike.onestopwebworks.com/ and any associated digital tools used to place orders or access services.
1.2. In these Conditions, the following rules apply:
1.2.1. “Person” refers to any individual, corporation, or unincorporated entity (whether or not it has a separate legal identity).
1.2.2. References to “a party” include their personal representatives, successors, or those they have assigned rights to.
1.2.3. Terms like “including,” “include,” “in particular,” or other similar phrases are meant to be illustrative and do not restrict the meaning of the words before them.
1.2.4. “Writing” or “written” includes e-mails and electronic communications.
2. The Contract
2.1. When you place an Order through our Website, you are making an offer to purchase Goods or Services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Please ensure you review your Order carefully before submission, as it is your responsibility to verify that the details are accurate. You may only place an Order if you meet the required legal age to purchase the Goods or Services.
2.2. Any confirmation email, order acknowledgment, or other electronic communication from us acknowledging receipt of your Order does not signify acceptance of your Order. A Contract will only be formed when:
(a) Payment for the Goods or Services has been received by us; and
(b) Where applicable, the Goods have been dispatched, and a dispatch confirmation has been sent to you; or
(c) Where applicable, the Service(s) have been completed.
2.3. All Orders placed through the Website are subject to stock and service availability, as well as the validation checks outlined in clause 5. In the rare event that you are able to place an Order for an out-of-stock item, or if we need to amend or cancel a booking for Services, we will contact you promptly to discuss the next steps. If your Order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.
2.4. We only accept Orders originating from and intended for delivery within the United Kingdom.
2.5. Services booked for specific Goods (e.g., e-bikes) are only valid for the vehicle specified at the time of the Order. These services are non-transferable to alternative vehicles. To ensure efficient service, we may, at times, partner with trusted external providers for certain Services. This does not affect your statutory rights, and your Contract remains with Medbike Limited.
2.6. We will keep records of your Order in our system. Should you wish to review these details, they can be provided upon request by our customer service team.
2.7. Your Order Confirmation will inform you which division of Medbike Limited is responsible for the fulfilment of your Goods and/or Services, based on the nature of your Order and the delivery method chosen.
3. Product Information
3.1. The Goods and Services offered are as described on our Website. We reserve the right to update or modify these descriptions as necessary.
3.2. The images of Goods on the Website are intended for illustrative purposes only. While we make every effort to ensure accurate color representation, variations in color may occur due to differences in photography, digital processes, or the settings of your display device.
3.3. All provided measurements and weights are approximate and intended as a general guide.
3.4. Any buyer’s guides, sales advice, and other helpful articles provided on our Website are intended to assist you in your purchasing decisions. These resources are for informational purposes only. Should you have any doubts or need specific guidance, we encourage you to consult an appropriate professional. We accept no liability for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from following the advice provided.
3.5. If any errors occur in the pricing or description of Goods or Services, we reserve the right to correct the error. In such cases, a contract will not be considered concluded, and you will not be required to proceed with the purchase. If your order is affected, we will cancel it and issue a full refund. Our liability will be limited solely to the repayment of any funds you have already paid.
4. Price Information
4.1. Unless otherwise stated, the price for the Goods and Services is the amount displayed on our Website at the time you submit your Order. All prices are listed in Pounds Sterling.
4.2. The price of the Goods does not include delivery fees, which will be provided during the checkout process, before you confirm your Order.
4.3. Due to the nature of certain Services, additional charges may apply if extra work is required on a vehicle (for example, during a service). These charges must be paid upon vehicle collection. We will always obtain your prior consent before performing any additional work.
4.4. The prices for Goods and Services include VAT (where applicable) at the current UK rate. If there is a change in the VAT rate between the time you place your Order and the delivery date, we will adjust the VAT amount you pay, unless full payment has already been made prior to the VAT change. 4.5. The prices listed on the Website apply exclusively to online purchases. Prices and promotions available online may differ from those in physical stores or garages, and Service prices may vary based on location.
4.6. If the price displayed online is lower than the price in our store or Garage, you are eligible for a Price Match.
4.7. Special offers and promotions advertised through external media channels, such as the press or social media, may not apply to purchases made on the Website unless specifically stated. All offers are subject to availability and may only be available while stocks last.
4.8. Offers cannot be combined with other promotions. If multiple offers are available on the same product, the offer providing the greatest discount will apply. Voucher codes cannot be combined with any other promotion. Proof of membership for discount eligibility may be requested. Offers are only valid at the time of purchase
5. Payment Information
5.1. MedBike Limited accepts payments through PayPal and most major credit or debit cards that are registered to UK addresses. We are unable to process any other form of payment for online purchases. For further details about available payment methods, please refer to our payment information page.
6. Delivery of Goods
6.1. For information regarding delivery methods, charges, geographical restrictions, and expected delivery times, please refer to our delivery page.
6.2. We may deliver your Goods in separate instalments, which will be invoiced and paid for individually. Each instalment will be treated as a separate contract. A delay or defect in one instalment does not entitle you to cancel any remaining instalments.
6.3. Delivery dates are approximate, and we cannot be held liable for any costs arising from delivery delays. Third-party couriers may deliver direct orders between 7am and 9pm.
6.4. Delivery will be considered complete once the Goods have been delivered to the address you provided in your Order.
6.5. The Goods will be your responsibility from the moment they are delivered to you.
6.6. If the courier is unable to deliver the Goods, they may attempt to deliver to a neighbour, redeliver the next day, leave a card for you to arrange a suitable redelivery time, or leave the parcel at your local Post Office for you to collect.
6.7. We will not be liable for any delays or failure to deliver Goods caused by an Event Outside Our Control or by your failure to provide adequate delivery instructions or other relevant information.
6.8. If we fail to meet the estimated delivery date for your Goods, or in the absence of an estimated date, fail to deliver within 30 days after dispatch confirmation, you may cancel your Order and receive a full refund. This applies to the full Order or part of it, unless we inform you that partial deliveries would significantly reduce the value of the Goods.
